I am a construction professional helping a variety of clients with construction-related issues. These include:

  • Eight Trading Standards organisations and three Police Forces, for whom I prepare expert witness reports in the prosecution of rogue builders
  • Non-Executive Directorships of two Housing Associations
  • Commercial management of a multi-disciplinary practice
  • Expert witness and consultancy work for solicitors
  • Dispute resolution

My construction experience spans over 30 years, starting with site engineering and progressing from there to site management and then up to senior construction management, responsible for over 70 staff, 75 contractors and a UK-wide spend in insurance repairs of over £31m per annum. I have run my own Chartered Building Company and have had experience of speculative house-building, steel-framed construction and in situ and pre-cast concrete construction. Three organisations use my skills in chairing meetings.
